Any Video Converter is an application that enables users to convert and encode videos from and to many of the most popular formats. It has a clean interface, and is easy to use. The conversion speeds are good and the output videos are of good quality, which is great.
The best thing about it, is that is has a wide support for devices like iPod, zune, iRiver, mobile phones, and videogame consoles. According to the developers, the program supports these formats: DivX, XviD, MOV, rm, MPEG, VOB, DVD, WMV, AVI, MPEG-4, 3GP, FLV, and some more. The program also rips DVDs to the mentioned multimedia formats, which is definitely a plus; of course this is done with fewer features than the basic function, but still very handy.
On the website there are tutorials on how to transfer videos to mobile devices, and a full device and format compatibility list. The new version features batch conversion, plus the chance to save customized settings for future use. Also YouTube video grabbing has been improved and fixed. The free version, however, does not rip DVDs, nor does it make batch conversions; besides, it is slower. |
